ALL FLEET RESIDENTS WELCOME

It will be thirteen years this year since Fleet Town Council came into being. It has been an interesting time, sometimes eventful and often frustrating in the sense that we haven’t been able to meet everyone’s expectations. Often that is because we have little to no control over controversial issues such as health, education, policing and even parking. We have always said when we cannot give a straight answer we will, at the very least pass on any query and lobby when we can.

This year we have arranged the attendance of representatives of some of those institutions over which we have no control but know residents are interested in: our local medical practices, Frimley Park Hospital, our local Police Force (we are promised an Inspector this year) and Hart Citizens Advice.

It is your opportunity to hear first hand what is happening in these various sectors and ask your burning questions. There will, of course, be an update on what has been happening at the Town Council and some of our future plans.

We look forward to meeting many of our regular attendees and hopefully some new faces. So, please do join us at 7pm on the 21st March. It should be an eventful evening. If, however you are unable to attend, copies of the presentation will be made available on our website.

The outline AGENDA for the evening is as follows:

From 6pm - Free refreshments and an exhibition of local community groups/organisations

6.30pm - There will be a performance from Shuffletunes in the main Auditorium
