The Harlington

Our story started in 2010 when Fleet Town Council took over the running of The Harlington, a multi-purpose arts and entertainment venue in Fleet, Hampshire, offering entertainment, events, courses and a range of rooms for hire.

Over the year’s we’ve gone from strength to strength, with more tickets sold than ever before, more sell out shows and most importantly – smiling faces, fun and laughter all around.

A Quick Update

Back in October 2025, Fleet residents were invited to vote on their preferred vision for the future of The Harlington through an online and postal survey. Thank you to all who took part, a total of 2,044 votes were made, of which 1,909 were validated. The verdict… from the three options, Option A emerged as the clear favourite, capturing 51% of the vote.

Option A represents a cost-effective refurbishment that will include retractable seating and a new balcony in the auditorium, replace heating/electrical systems, improve building efficiency, upgrade toilets, and other improvements and redecoration to bring the venue up to current building standards and improve building operations.

The next stage is securing additional funding with Public Works Loan Board (PWLB), and working closely with Architects BFF to develop designs that deliver the very best outcome within the agreed budget. Together, we will refine and finalise plans, secure contractors, and prepare to transform the venue into a vibrant, future-ready hub for all.
